Tuckaway Shores Resort
If you’re looking for a quiet, beachfront retreat with a laid-back atmosphere, Tuckaway Shores Resort is a hidden gem on Florida’s Space Coast.
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home—the staff was incredibly friendly, making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
A True Beach Lover’s Paradise

The best part? The location! Just steps from the beach, we could wake up to stunning ocean views and fall asleep to the sound of waves. Early mornings were perfect for a peaceful walk on the shore, and in the evenings, we sat on the balcony enjoying the breeze and the breathtaking sunset. Unlike crowded tourist beaches, this stretch of sand was serene and uncrowded, which made our stay even more special.
Spacious & Comfortable Suites

Our one-bedroom suite was well-maintained, clean, and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette. It felt more like a home away from home rather than just a hotel room. The bed was comfy, and having a living area made it easy to unwind after a long day in the sun.

The Little Extras That Made a Difference.
- The heated pool was a great place to relax when we wanted a break from the ocean.
- The outdoor grilling area was perfect for a casual evening cookout.
- We loved the complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas, making it easy to spend the whole day on the sand.
A Few Things to Consider

- There’s no on-site restaurant, but plenty of great local spots are just a short drive away (Try Long Doggers for casual bites or The Fat Snook for a special dinner!).
- The resort has a classic, vintage charm rather than a modern, luxury feel—but that’s exactly what we loved about it!
Things to Do Near Tuckaway Shores Resort

One of the things we loved most about this resort was how perfectly located it is for exploring Florida’s Space Coast! Whether you’re looking for adventure, nature, or family fun, there’s something for everyone nearby:
- Kennedy Space Center (45 min drive): If you’re a space enthusiast, this is a must-visit! We were lucky enough to catch a rocket launch during our stay.
- Sebastian Inlet State Park (30 min drive): Great for fishing, surfing, and spotting wildlife like dolphins and sea turtles. The beaches here are beautiful and more rugged than the resort area.
- Brevard Zoo (25 min drive): We had a blast kayaking through the zoo and getting up close with giraffes and exotic animals.
- Fishing & Watersports: You can book a deep-sea fishing trip, rent paddleboards, or even try surfing at nearby Cocoa Beach (30 min drive)..

9/10: Lovely!
Tuckaway Shores Resort is a peaceful escape for couples, families, and even solo travelers looking for a relaxing stay by the ocean. It’s not a big chain hotel with endless amenities, but that’s what makes it special—it feels personal, quiet, and welcoming. We left feeling completely refreshed, and we’re already planning our next visit! Highly recommend for anyone who loves the charm of Old Florida and the simple joys of beachfront living. Would absolutely stay again!
